City of San Diego Historical Resources Board

Preserving San Diego’s History, One Property at a Time

As an active member of the City of San Diego’s Historical Resources Board (HRB), I’m proud to play a role in shaping how our city honors, protects, and celebrates its architectural and cultural legacy. The HRB is San Diego’s official historic preservation authority, responsible for designating historic landmarks and districts, and reviewing development projects that involve properties over 45 years old.

With a background rooted in both real estate and preservation, my work on the Board goes beyond transactions—it’s about stewardship. I help evaluate historic nominations, contribute to thoughtful city planning decisions, and support property owners who are committed to maintaining the historic integrity of their homes or buildings.

Whether you’re buying a historic home, considering Mills Act tax incentives, or curious about the value and responsibilities of owning a designated property, I bring insider knowledge and hands-on experience. From navigating design guidelines to preserving architectural character, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.

AREAA National Policy Chair

Leading Policy. Elevating Communities.

As the National Policy Chair for the Asian Real Estate Association of America (AREAA), I proudly serve at the intersection of real estate, advocacy, and equity. AREAA is a national nonprofit dedicated to promoting sustainable homeownership opportunities for the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) community — and my role is focused on ensuring that fair housing, equitable lending practices, and access to homeownership remain at the forefront of industry and government agendas.

In this leadership position, I help shape policy recommendations, work alongside lawmakers, and amplify the voices of underrepresented communities in real estate. It’s more than just a title — it’s a commitment to empowering clients and professionals alike through informed, inclusive practices.

If you’re seeking a real estate partner who not only understands the market, but is actively working to improve it on a national scale, you’re in the right place. Whether you’re a first-time buyer, a seasoned investor, or navigating the complexities of multicultural markets, I bring both expertise and advocacy to every conversation.

AREAA San Diego Annual Policy Summit

Driving Change Through Local Policy & Community Dialogue

Each year, I’m deeply involved in the AREAA San Diego Annual Policy Summit—a powerful local gathering where real estate professionals, policymakers, and community leaders come together to tackle the challenges impacting homeownership in our region. The Summit is a space for real conversations around housing policy, affordability, lending equity, and how these issues uniquely affect the AAPI community and beyond.

My role in the Summit goes beyond attendance—it’s about contributing to meaningful dialogue, helping organize thought-provoking panels, and working to bridge the gap between industry insight and real policy action. Being part of this initiative allows me to stay on the pulse of local housing trends while advocating for smarter, more inclusive solutions that directly impact buyers, sellers, and neighborhoods throughout San Diego.

If you care about the future of housing in San Diego, I’m not just someone who talks about it—I’m on the ground, helping shape it.

CAR Board of Directors

Representing San Diego at the State Level

As a proud member of the California Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors, I have the opportunity to represent our region while helping shape the future of real estate across the state. Being part of C.A.R.’s leadership body means staying ahead of policy changes, protecting property rights, and advocating for legislation that supports homeowners, investors, and the real estate professionals who serve them.

My involvement includes participating in statewide meetings, engaging with regulatory updates, and contributing to decisions that influence everything from housing supply to fair lending practices. It’s a responsibility I take seriously—not only for the clients I serve, but for the strength and sustainability of California’s real estate market as a whole.

By staying connected at the state level, I bring my clients and community the advantage of informed, proactive representation—rooted in both local experience and statewide perspective.
